Uses and Applications
- Personal Care Products: Used in skincare products (such as acne treatments, exfoliating serums, and shampoos) to dissolve dead skin cells, unclog pores, and improve acne problems. It can also assist in oil control and improve follicular keratosis. It can also be used as an antibacterial ingredient in toothpaste and mouthwash.
- Pharmaceuticals: Used as a core raw material in the synthesis of antipyretic and analgesic drugs such as aspirin and sodium salicylate. It can also be used to prepare anti-inflammatory and antibacterial ointments for the treatment of skin inflammation, fungal infections, and other conditions.
